Troubleshooting

Try these factual checks first. If the issue continues, contact support with your order number and photos.

Weak suction

  1. Confirm all milk-contact parts are fully assembled and seated.
  2. Inspect and replace torn or warped duckbill valves and seals.
  3. Try a higher suction level within comfortable range (9 levels available).
  4. Check flange seal and bra support — poor seal reduces effective suction.
  5. Ensure the unit has sufficient charge.

Leaking milk

  1. Do not overfill past the 120 ml marked capacity.
  2. Check sealing ring orientation and condition.
  3. Confirm the collection cup and bottle/conversion path are locked correctly.
  4. Stop the session, empty, and reassemble if milk escapes at joints.

Unusual noise

  1. Confirm parts are dry and correctly fitted — loose parts can rattle.
  2. Check that valves are not inverted or damaged.
  3. If noise is sudden after a drop or liquid exposure, stop use and contact support.

Charging issues

  1. Use only the approved charging cord supplied or listed by Embrae.
  2. Confirm the cable and port are clean and fully connected.
  3. Try another known-good wall outlet.
  4. Do not charge if the port or cable is damaged — contact support.

Remote not responding

  1. Operate within reasonable line-of-sight / nearby range of the main unit.
  2. Replace or recharge remote batteries if applicable per the manual.
  3. Confirm the main unit is powered on.
  4. Use on-unit controls if the remote still fails, then contact support.

Milk in the motor area

  1. Stop use immediately. Do not rinse the main unit under water.
  2. Wipe exterior only with a slightly damp cloth; keep ports dry.
  3. Inspect anti-backflow valves and seals for damage before any further use.
  4. Contact support — liquid ingress may require service assessment.

Damaged valve

  1. Do not use torn, sticky, or permanently open duckbill valves.
  2. Replace with approved valves when available.
  3. See replacement parts and contact support to order if not listed online.
